Fourteen Day Coffee Brew

My fourteen day coffee brew was complete on the 28th of December. I was a little bit thrown off, I expected a much stronger flavor profile and instead the flavor profile was very mild. It still had coffee flavor, although it was very mild. The seven day coffee kombucha I made previously had so many different notes of coffee and was wonderful. The fourteen day brew wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what I was expecting. So if your looking for a more robust flavor profile, I suggest 7-10 days, as it seems the compounds that help provide a robust flavor profile to the kombucha are about fully metabolized within a couple weeks.
